teentech 2012 - Connecting Girls and Technology

teentech 2012 will take place on May 23, 2012 at The College of New Jersey. This program offers a day of hands-on workshops that are designed to make technology, science, engineering, and math exciting and relevant and to interest girls in high-demand careers in the global economy where women are still greatly underrepresented. High school girls in grades 9-11 are invited to attend from 8:45 am until 1:45 pm on Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Registration is $20.00 and includes all activities, materials, breakfast, and lunch. LeadAmerica Conference

Middle and high school students are invited to participate in LeadAmerica Conferences that will take place in the spring and summer in a variety of locations. These conferences will help prepare middle and high school students for the transition to college during science-focused programs in Medicine & Healthcare and Engineering & Robotics. Students must be nominated by a science teacher, so if interested notify your teacher. He or she should nominate you online at www.lead-america.org/educator and then you will receive information from the organization.
