Excerpt:
Selection of courses at CHS for the 2012-2013 school year is coming up in a few weeks. From February 20 to February 27, students will make their initial picks for their courses next year. Through the month of March and into April, students will meet with their counselor to review the course selections for next year and make adjustments where appropriate.

As part of our on-going program review, the Practical Arts faculty have made some changes for the 2012-13 CHS Program of Studies.
- NEW COURSE: Baking and Pastry Arts is new for 2012-13
- Auto Recommendation: for those students interested in the auto program, it is suggested students select Small Engine Repair prior to taking Basic Auto.
- Student successfully completing the Timberlane Gateway to Technology technology/engineering course(s) should move right into the Introduction to Engineering Design in 9th grade.
