Please see the attached Profile of an Honors Student, which represents one of three elements within the process that will be at play for determining honors level eligibility in the new course, Honors Language Arts 6.  The other elements will include the results of a common writing prompt administered in fifth grade, as well a comprehension based assessment intending to glean a sense of reading level and aptitude for rigorous work with more challenging texts next year.
