WHERE: The College of New Jersey

DATES/TIMES: July 2-19, 2012

WHO: Open to Timberlane Students with an EALP or in Honors English

TUITION: $425 plus the cost of materials

As part of our efforts to expand enriching opportunities for Hopewell Valley students, we am pleased to announce the sixth annual summer symposium for rising seventh and eighth grade students who have an EALP or who are taking honors English. In partnership with The College of New Jersey, the Summer Symposium will be co-taught by Timberlane’s Mrs. Jamie Adler and TCNJ’s Dr. Rita King, Professor of Biology. The course will focus on lab-based investigations in anatomy and physiology, and explorations in writing.

Registration is limited to only 20 students, and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Attached is a brochure and application for the summer symposium. It is important that you send in your application as soon as possible to reserve your child’s seat. Last year’s program was highly successful, and we anticipate the sixth year to be a very popular offering.

An orientation for registered students and their parents will be held at TCNJ during the spring. You will receive more information about the orientation from The College of New Jersey after you have registered for the program.

For more information, please contact Tony Suozzo, Timberlane Principal, at 609-737-4004 ext. 4112.
