Selection of courses at CHS for the 2012-2013 school year is coming up in a few weeks. From February 20 to February 27, students will make their initial picks for their courses next year. Through the month of March and into April, students will meet with their counselor to review the course selections for next year and make adjustments where appropriate.

Please note the following for the Business Department courses for the 2012-2013 school year.

Remember that Personal Finance is a required course for those student who are in the Class of 2014 or later.
CTE-Cooperative Work Experience for those in grades 11 and 12 is a way to obtain up to 10 additional credits on your transcript for college. This can be done during and/or after school and on weekends. Students receive pay, obtain on-the-job skills and training, and delve into possible career interests. All that is needed is enrollment in a business department course.
It is highly encouraged that all incoming 9th graders enroll in Computer Essentials for College and Business. This provides the technology applications and skills necessary for success in all high school coursework.

These go along with the other excellent course offerings that will assist students personally and professionally in the diverse field of business.
