: New Jersey Monthly magazine lists HVCHS AP scores as tops in state
Title
New Jersey Monthly magazine lists HVCHS AP scores as tops in state
Body
In the September issue of New Jersey Monthly magazine, Hopewell Valley Central High School was ranked 38th out of 322 public high schools in the state of New Jersey. This is up from a ranking of 39th in 2008, and 59th in 2006. One of the criteria used for these rankings was the percentage of students who scored 3 or above on advanced placement tests during the 2008-2009 school year. In those rankings, HVCHS ranked number 1 in the entire state with 96% of our test takers scoring a 3 or above on advanced placement tests. No other public high school is listed in New Jersey Monthly with advanced placement scores as high as our high school!
