Christine Laquidara 
Christine A. Laquidara has served as principal of Hopewell Elementary School since 2004. A former vice principal at Hopewell and Stony Brook Elementary, she also once supervised the mathematics program for the district’s four elementary schools. She began with Hopewell Valley in 2001 and has served on various district-wide committees, including those dealing with Safety, Discipline, Curriculum Review and the Gifted and Talented program.

Prior to coming to Hopewell Valley, Ms. Laquidara was employed by the New Jersey Department of Corrections. In a career spanning nearly 20 years, she directed the Office of Educational Services, supervising educational programs and 500 staff in 15 correctional facilities and has worked as a national educational trainer. She has taught at Northampton Community College.

Laquidara holds a master’s degree in educational administration from Rider University and a master’s degree in education from East Stroudsburg University. She also has a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a concentration in criminal justice from East Stroudsburg.

A resident of Yardley, Pa., Laquidara also volunteers for Angel’s Wings, a non-profit, Trenton-based organization that provides round-the-clock care to abused or neglected children.
