Governor's Recognition Program Recipients Announced

The recipients of the 2011-2012 Governor’s Teacher/Educational Services Professional Recognition Program award have been announced. The six recipients are Robert O'Boyle (Central High), Nancy Greener (Timberlane Middle), Amy Ciavaglia (Bear Tavern Elementary), Jane-Ellen Lennon (Hopewell Elementary), Marci Thomas (Stony Brook Elementary), and Georgine Johnson (Toll Gate Grammar).

The award winners will be honored at the May 11 E² awards dinner hosted by the Hopewell Valley Education Foundation at Educational Testing Service's Chauncey Center. The public is invited to attend; more information is available at HVEF's website (hvef.org). The Governor’s Teacher/Educational Services Professional Recognition Program is a statewide event developed in 1985 to acknowledge teachers and educational services professionals who exhibit outstanding performance. The award is our district’s highest honor.
