District Textile Drive Success Recognized by NY Company
Hopewell Valley Regional School District's successful textile drive is featured in the November blog post of a leading clothing recycling company.
New York-based Wearable Collections, a company that raises funds for non-profit organizations by collecting and recycling clothing, spotlighted the efforts of Board of Education President Lisa Wolff and the Alternate Resources Committee, local Parent-Teacher Organizations, district employees, parents, and community members in organizing and supporting the Election Day Textile Drive.
The November textile drive was a resounding success, garnering over four tons of clothing in a two-week period.
