The Hopewell Valley Regional School District is the recipient of federal funding through the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act. Title I is one source of this funding. Title I, Part A provides financial assistance to states and school districts to meet the needs of educationally at-risk students. The goal of Title I is to provide extra instructional services and activities for support students identified as failing or most at risk of failing the state's challenging performance standards in mathematics, reading, and writing.

The Title I program will provide HVRSD support students with academic support by teachers who are trained using Title I funds. The HVRSD Title I program offers opportunities for professional development for school staff; a variety of supplementary teaching methods and additional teaching materials which supplement a student's regular instruction.
